Community Food Resource Center Manager
Hope Community Services is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Food Resource Center team as a temporary part-time (20 hours/week to start) Community Food Resource Manager. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of the Food Resource Center including overseeing and assisting in already existing programs including, but not limited to Food Bank, Lunch with the bunch, and Family Meal Kits. The Community Food Resource Manager provides oversight and supervision for the Food Resource staff and volunteers and leads the team in program development & planning.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of management experience.
- Current Food Safe Certification or willing to obtain.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work as a team member.
- Ability to work under pressure while handling competing priorities.
- Develop and manage program budgets in conjunction with the Executive Director.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and values of non-profit organizations.
- Experience researching and writing grant/contract applications, policies and program reports.
- Ability to work effectively with various staff, professionals, volunteers, funders, stakeholders and community members.
This is an excluded (non-union) contract position that goes until Aug 31, 2026. Position may be extended if funding has been secured.
The position is 20 hours per week at $30.00 per hour.

Community Resource Worker
Hope Community Services is excited to announce that we have an opportunity for a local youth to join our team for the Summer of 2026. The position is 30 hours a week $19 per hour to start June 29th for eight weeks.
Applicants must be between the ages of 15-30, be outgoing and possess a positive attitude.
- As a Community Resource Worker, you will be involved in a variety of programs and capacities with the majority of the time spent as an Administration Assistant.
- As an Administration Assistant you will be the first-person people see when they walk into our office. You will be engaging in a various task such as answering phone calls, providing information, distributing hot lunches, processing the Meals to You program and assisting with simple office tasks.
- With the Family Resource program, you will work closely with program facilitators to establish program schedules and activities. This includes preparation and cleanup of activities, meal/snack prep, craft activities and engaging with children and families in activities.
- At the Food Resource Center, you will assist with the delivery of various programs aimed at children, families, seniors and individuals. This may involve helping with the pickup, sorting and displaying recovered food items.
